Since its creation in 2009, the company has experienced rapid growth in an innovative ecosystem of applications , hardware products and online services that track and manage both health and fitness data. In collaboration with our strategic partners, we will take our business to the next level. In order to enlarge our team at our headquarters we are currently looking for a:

CLOUD OPERATIONS ENGINEER
full-time

YOUR CHALLENGE
As part of our young and motivated Infrastructure team, you will be mainly responsible for the following tasks:

Administration of our private cloud infrastructure, databases and network environments
Automation of our infrastructure with the help of configuration management tools
Capacity planning for the rapidly growing community of the APIs users
Developing concepts to ensure the highest availability for backend services

YOUR PROFILE
University degree in Computer Sciences / Informatics or similar
Excellent knowledge of any flavor of Linux (preferably Debian based)
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Chef) and with MySQL or NoSQL databases
Good understanding of virtualization (experience with KVM and OpenNebula is an advantage)
Ideally, understanding of monitoring tools and concepts of real-time system performance statistics gathering
Ability to think out of the box and actively look for improvements to our infrastructure
Very good German and basic English skills OR very good English skills (written and spoken)
Readiness to participate in standby duty and willing to work in our head office.
